Sevilla FC has announced that they have extended the contract of their Argentine forward Paulo Dybala until 2026. The deal is worth €15 million ($18 million) and includes a performance-based bonus.
Dybala, who joined Sevilla from Juventus in January 2019, has made a strong start to life at the Estadio Ramón Sánchez Pizjuan. He has scored six goals and provided two assists in 17 appearances for the Andalusians so far this season.
The 29-year-old was originally signed by Juventus as part of their summer transfer window in 2015, but he struggled to find his form in Italy and moved to Turin in 2018. He then spent time on loan at Parma before joining Sevilla last year.
Dybala's extension means that he will be staying in Spain until 2026, and it is hoped that he can continue to perform well for the club and help them achieve success in the coming years. He has already shown that he is capable of playing at a high level, and it remains to be seen how much more he can contribute to Sevilla over the next few seasons.
